Angel Trumpet, Angel's Trumpet 'Variegata' (Brugmansia suaveolens)

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

This is NOT 'Snowbank'. It is B. suaveolens variegata.
Compare to pictures from a well-known source... easy to find from Google Image Search

It should still be added to PF, but under the correct name. (PF does not appear to have an entry for B. suaveolens variegata.)

East Stone Gap, VA

I have 4 trumpet vines planted this year. I have two yellow which are beautiful when they bloom. A friend gave me 2 pinks ones so I planted them and cant wait to see how pretty the pink will be. These plants don't like the frost so I cut them down to roots and saw the stem about 8 inches long. I take mason jars and put into about one third of water and put in a cool place so they can root over winter. I just did that last year and a lot got mold on them but some did survive. I was told these plants are poisonous to animals. Saw in a seed catalogue that they have a new color, a white one with violent color mixed in.
