sweet wormwood- artemisia annua L. cures some cancers or keeps them in remission.

They have done studies with breast cancer cells. And it killed them off within hours, leaving the normal cells untouched.
I came across this a while ago and put my dog, who has Lymphoma on it. I've also had a friend who put her dog on it as well, for osteosarcoma, and the dog lives 14 months, no pain, after diagnosis. She had no chemo nor amputation. Usually they live for 4 weeks. This is one herb I would love to have in my garden. It's not the wormwood used in absinthe. This is the stuff used for malaria.
I use the pill form but wondered if anyone grows it.

sweet wormwood- artemisia annua L
This is where it is in the PF: Sweet Annie, Sweet Sagewort, Annual Wormwood, Huang Hua Hao (Artemisia annua) http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/1140/index.html
I've seen it being sold on the internet; but some how the plants I've seen don't actually match up. Like some is confused about which wormwood they're selling.
Hope you have some luck; I wish I could find some too.

I have grown A. annua for a couple or more years. It springs up here and there on its own despite my mother's efforts to cut it down before it goes to seed. :-( It's very easy from seed and you shouldn't have any trouble finding it if you look a bit. A good garden center might have the plant in small pots in spring. Do plant it early (after chance of frost) for best results.
Give it plenty of room and partial to full sun.
And do beware that it *freely* self sows.
But that might be just waht you want!
