beautiful plant ladyanne...what is supporting it?

Yes, it's gorgeous, Ladyanne!

Thank you! I will try and take a picture of the whole thing today, but its blooms are just over now. Sniff. This is another shot of it, you cant see all the blooms that are in the shadows. We grew it next to the large fish tank (above ground) and it winds up the trellis support and lays all over the trellis. We just trim it up enough so that it doesn't go too far. This is one healthy puppy who needs constant trimming.

The support...the fish pond and the pond trellis.

Another shot from the other side. By the way, never, never, never plant a wisteria over a fish pond.

Is that because of the mess it makes in the water? I have huge oaks towering over my pond, and when I clean it in the spring it smell like a sewer...yuk!
It's very shady, so we just have frogs and goldfish, no flowers.
Yours looks very nice and inviting.

Toxi, yeah, it is a mess. Big time. I buy wedding netting and replace the fish nets often because we are always scooping, ("Out of the way, Ping") and scooping and scooping in May. BUT, it is truly worth it. This is one of three favorite places to sit. Lots and lots of shady flowers will go next to your shady pond. Honest! And many a lot less messy than this stuff.
