Golden Lady is such a good Mother. I sent out so many seeds from her, I wonder what happened to them all.

I'd have to check but I don't think I got any of GL seeds of yours, Kell.

Kell, 'Alyse' did not come from your seeds. This one is from my crosses.

BUT ..
Anyone receiving Kell's seeds has a chance for some really good hybrids. I have other nice offspring from my GL crosses I have been evaluating. So, if you got Kell's seeds, get them planted! There have good to be some good hybrids there (o:

My original 'Golden Lady' was a gift from the late Gloria Lessner. I was just starting hybridizing and asking her advice. She sent me 'Golden Lady' because I liked it .AND as she said would be a good Mama for me. She was not wrong ;-)
In my GL hybrids, I see some of her work carried on. After all, she had a hand in it (o:

My pink crossings using GL both ways have not bloomed yet. Can't wait!!
2005 should be a fun year here with the brugs (((o:

Oh I know that Alice. I didn't mean to imply it was. For some reason I do not think I ever sent you any of my seeds. I guess I figured you have so many of your own great ones to want to grow mine. You have that special brug touch. Yes, I agree GL is a great mother. I have a few babies I love. I can't wait to see the next generation! What will you cross your Alyse with? She is such a good size double. Mine posted is a smaller one like GL.

Kell, I sure wish I could have been one of those lucky peeps that got some of your GL seeds! The seedlings I'm growing out are doing very well, and growing nicely.

Your seedlings I grow are Carissa and ForeverMorr. I have never received any of your Golden Lady cuttings. Nor any reports. I'm not understanding what you are saying, but you never sent them to me...???
