Rawhide Toys & Bones - These items can become slimmy (especially if the dog salivates heavily) and when the dog attempts to swallow them, they can choke to death or in the process of "up chucking" them they can get fluid into their lungs which can then lead to Respiratory Pneumonia (Infection/Inflammation) which is a very serious situation.

If you question the validity of above statement, please do your canine friend a favor and ask your Vet for their opinion of these items.
