Banter of the Caladium Co-op participants and any others.

I, not texasgardener, have had this fabulous idea of starting a thread to discuss our Caladium purchases. If you're looking strictly for Caladium bulb discussion, you may want to look elsewhere, as I have the attention span of goldfish, and this could go in a million different directions, but we'll do our best to at least insert the word Caladium into every post.

You've been warned. :-)

So please share your bulbs, beds, and blooms.

What a fantastic idea you had, Chris! Floridians sure are on the cutting edge, aren't they? ;-)

You forgot to use the word Caladium in your post.

Chris,

Although I didn't get in on your CALADIUM coop, I now have this on my watch list. Your good mood is spreading into my soul and I just want to hang out and absorb some more.

I am so happy for you and the turn for the good your life has taken. You certainly deserve all good things to come your way.

Thanks Molly. I would have been thrilled just getting back to the way I was before all of last years fun happened. Now I'm blown out of the water, and loving life like I've never felt it before.

One example is dancing. I'm not the dancing type. I would rather sit on the sides and laugh at the people that dance like me, but lo and behold, I found us dancing the other night. Not on a dance floor, but beside our table at Carabas. People thought we were nuts, and I loved it.

And then we went home and packed CALADIUMS for the co-op.

I think I'm going to have to split this into 2 threads though. This one won't be around for long if there's not any legit Caladium talk.

Chris, in case you didn't see this in the old Caladium thread.....

I got an extra bag. I ordered 4 kinds 5 each and got all 5, 5 each. Postman Joyner is the extra. Let me know who is missing them and I'll send them on. Yesterday when I opened the box, I didn't dig into the bottom. This morning I did and ... Surprise! Great packing by the way. If no one is missing them I'd like to send you a check for them.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo incredibly jealous of y'alls CALADIUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'(

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

I'm just going to say, this has been great fun. Chris, your humor has been wonderful and I got bulbs in the bargain. I had never participated in a co-op before, but you truly did a wonderful job, not just of getting everything packed and mailed, but also of keeping everyone informed - communication is so important!!!

Anyway, thanks for a great experience - I can't wait to see how they all do once they're in pots (CALADIUMS, that is! ;) )!

Caladiums arrived and Thanks again for such a well done Co-Op. My first one I must add and the results were Fantastic!!! I was anxious to get mine planted because I came up with an idea for something different for planting them. Doesn't look like much now but by mid June or so I hope to have some great color. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/502212/
