Lemon Balm

Orangeville, PA(Zone 6a)

Dug out a clump of Lemon Balm last night. Anyone want it for trade? It's not too big...came up last year in my flowerbed and I left it, but last night I reconfigured things and it was in the way. It's about 4" by 6" with all new small leaves (don't worry, it'll grow like a bugger-it did last year!)

Hi - what color is your balm? I love beebalm - so deer resistant and hummer's love it. So pretty when in bloom

Ummm....I don't rightly remember! Isn't that terrible! The leaves are very much like beebalm. I think maybe white? I have it in a bunch of places and, well, I guess I never really pay much attention to it. Sorry! It's just regular old Lemon Balm, no special hybrid or variety, if that helps. :(

Lemon Balm - They are white (I think) but under the leaves and tiny, so you never see them unless you are looking.

I think there might be a wee bit of confusion between bee balm (Monarda) and lemon balm (Melissa).

Mine smells very strongly of lemon when rubbed. And beebalm, which looks very similar, smells more "herbie", like catnip, kinda... My husband says our l balm smells like pledge. LOL
