CLOSED: Have Unknown Oaks for Postage

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

I have 5 or 6 baby (few inch tall each) oaks that I got thrown in when I pulled up for a trade here in Dallas (and 40 some 4o'clock roots for me too!) Anyway I dont need them so claim them all to the first person who gets on here or I will have to add them to the conpost

Milo, ME(Zone 4a)

Nope - keeping those sorry :-( Oaks are still open for postage.

Any idea what type of oaks? I'm very interested if they are a type that will survive in zone 4. I have some burr oaks growing here now, but beyond that, I don't know what other oaks will like it here.

If you get someone else that can grow them out where you know they will be happy, please let them have them. But, if nobody else wants them, I would love to try to save them from the compost pile.

Take them please - give them a shot. They are fully leafed out and are not a live oak so I think they will be able to do it. My addy is in the exchange.

Sending you a DG mail now.
