Hi! i've never grown one of these before and was wondering what size pot is needed. This is a 12" pot. Do I need a bigger one?

golgi that pot should be just fine for now. You can keep it in that pot pretty much as long as you like but remember that after it starts growing you will notice that you have to water it more often. You can put it in that pot now and pot it up later or go ahead and put it in a larger pot. It really depends on you and how much you want to water it. It will eventualy get rootbound but I dont find that thats a problem for me. You can rip a few roots and it shouldnt hurt it a bit.
