HAVE: LOTS OF NAMED CANNAS FOR NAMED DAYLILIES OR HOSTAS OR

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

I have lots of named cannas I'd like to trade for named daylilies, named hostas, named heucheras, named louisiana irises, etc. I'm a collector, so I have many varieties of many species. Please understand, I've been gardening for many years, and I have lots of plants. That's why I insist on names in most species.

I have these cannas:

Pretoria
Richard Wallace
Florence Vaughn
Miss Oklahoma
Rosemond Cole
Pink Beauty
Red Dazzler
Crimson Beauty
China Doll
Red Futurity
Tangelo
Spitfire
China Lass
Red Wine
Orange Punch
Apricot frost
Tropicanna Gold
Striped Beauty (Christ's Light)
Orange Beauty
Tropical Sunrise
Primrose Yellow
Black Knight
Sunnyside
City of Portland
Cleopatra
Lenape

FYI: Any canna can be placed in the pond. Pot the rhizomes and let them grow a few leaves. Then set them shallowly in the pond with only the bottom inch or two of the pot in the water. They'll grow splendidly as they all love water.

I like to do larger trades to make the most of my time and postage. I won't trade just for one plant.

If you're interested, let me know what you'd like from me and what you have. Thank you for looking.

Thank you to those of you who have traded with me. I put the last of the trades in the mail this a.m. And I'm ready for another round. So if anyone else wants to trade with me, let me know. I still have a gardenfull of cannas and I'd like to grow more daylilies, hostas, louisiana irises, ferns, and other perennials. I'd love to find some paulownia trees and some pink pampas grass, black bamboo, and any other unusual grasses. I'm also looking for Purple Emperor sedum and other unique sedums.

And let me clarify, when I say "big trade", I just mean a variety of plants in one box, as opposed to one plant or bulb in a box. I'm not expecting one large clump of one variety. I'd like to get smaller starts of several things in one trade. So if you have a little of this and a little of that, that would work great.

Thanks again to everyone who has traded with me. I'm looking forward to all the plants I'm getting!

Hi Nancy Ann, What kind of daylilies are you looking for? Off the top of my head I have ready to dig and divide: Dallas Star / Chicago Arnies Choice / Russian Rhapsody / Night Beacon / Ice Carnival, and lots more. I am having an "identity crisis" with a lot of my plants though, and I am hoping to get everything properly identified this year, AFTER they bloom.
Have lots of nepeta, goldstrum, purple coneflower, artemisia valerie finis, Aster ruby star and New England, many more and guaranteed to be still more as long as I can read the numbers off of my credit card and type them in online during the long Iowa winters!

Ahhhhh, Caitlin, now you're talking! I LOVE daylilies. If they're not careful, they're going to push cannas out of the number 1 spot in my gardens. LOL Dallas Star and Russian Rhapsody are beautiful. I would love to have them. I have the others you mention. What others do you have? And which cannas do I have that you'd like?
