Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Wow, very pretty, Susie.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kyle, I bet the purple was really pretty.
I saw a vine at a nursery and it was called "corona" something and favored the pereskia, but was white. Wonder if it was a trailing variety?

Crossville, TN

Hi Susie...That is so pretty...How you doing? I miss chatting with you. Jo

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Hi Jo, I'm doing fine. When are ya passing thru Texas again?

Crossville, TN

Dang if I know...but it will probably be on a plane!! SO and I parted ways...LOL Know any nice old men...widowed...with an RV...that needs a navigator??? LOL Jo

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Hmmmmmmmm. ya might still find some winter Texans down here if you hurry!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

That is really pretty Susie, Now that I have the greenhouse I am venturing out to some new plants. I will have to check these out.

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh my gosh. That is gorgeous. You got that from Trish? Wow....

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes, she sent me this itty bitty plant and she said "don't overwater it and kill it"(she knows I am a plant killer, lol). I couldn't figure out why she liked that ugly, stickery plant till it bloomed, then I fell in love too. I cut the thorns off, they are really long and sharp. I rooted a few cuttings to put in the flower bed, I will take more later, if I can find a branch without blooms.

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

I had to go back and look at it again. Wow, that is beautiful. And that is something else that I dont have. Did Trish give it to you before or after she moved to Crestview. If it is after, then I am headed up there to her house (she now only lives a few miles away.).

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Let me think, it was fall of 2003, she sent it with Ruth Ann. Was that before or after her move, I can't remember.

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

I think that was just about the time she moved. Hmmmm,,,, I will see her at the Master Gardeners plant sale Saturday, I am sure. I will have to ask her about it. Dont remember seeing it when I went to her house. Of course, we both lost a lot of plants with Ivan.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

hmmmm~ which Ruth Ann are you referring to Susie?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

The one from Canada! She stopped to see me on her way back from Florida when I still lived in TN.
Lisa, if she lost hers, I can start more(or I might part with one I planted in the garden).

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Cool beans. I will check with her on Sunday.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Cala... Yippeee... isn't it the greatest!! I did bring mine along.. it suffered a little bit of damage this winter in the shed (cold and overwatered) but it is loaded down with buds now. I also got a new variety but it has yellow/orange flowers.. it is still too small for cutting on.. but anxiously awaiting to see what it does. TopTropical has the variety of colors AND the vining one.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I think I saw the vining one here at a nursery in a gallon pot. Can't remember how much it was. I'll go to TT and see what they've got, but I try to stay away, lol, they have sooooooo many tempting things!
I'm glad yours made it. I killed another desert rose by overwatering, I'm so bad about doing that.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Its beautiful!!!!!

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

I've got one of these - just acquired a month or so ago and I love it. Very cool plants. I was reading they are ether the only or one of the very few truly leaved cacti.

I want the orange flowered variety!

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

That is what I have Carter.. the orange one.. I think it is called Bleo or Belo or something like that

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

I've got the one Susie has pictured above as well as Bleo. Bleo hasn't bloomed yet but the pink one has it's first blooms open today.

I bought both from Logees a month or so ago and they are growing like weeds.

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

Mz, I think Bleo sounds correct. I just love orange flowers. Maybe one of these days I'll order it from Logee's - I'm trying to NOT do any plant orders right now, though, as I'm trying to save for a car. Not easy for an established plant addict like me!

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Carter... try TopTropicals... much cheaper and larger/healtier plants...
