Passiflora Incarnata (maypop) wanted

San Diego, CA

I am looking for some root sections (with nice growth would be nice, but not required), of the above listed plant. I have a few different types of Passiflora to offer in trade.
thanks,
Mark

Mark, I have some growing wild in one of our pastures. Are you interested in one of those as a trade? What do you have to trade?

San Diego, CA

Well, let me know what you think. I usually trade one of my plants per 4 or 5 of those little rooted plants unless of course you pull up some nice sized chuncks. Anyhow, I'm trying to get as many of these as I can get my hands on to put in a huge planter. Let me know what you think, I'm easy to work with. I have about 4 or 5 different passiflora right now and have more on the way.
P. Blue Horizon
P. Purple Haze
P. Blue Boutique
P. Racemosa (4 or 5 inch seedling but rare, has red flowers)
P. Apetala (very small flowers, nice varigated leafs)
and maybe one or two others.
thanks,
Mark

My plants have grown in the same spot for at least a year or two. The tops are short since they have just popped out of dormancy, but the root system should be large and healthy. I can supply more than one, but it would have to be on a one for one basis.

As long as they are nice and big, I can do that. Most people give me little tiny roots is why I offer it that way. Let me know.
thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

I had some seed of P. racemosa but they were dried out and broken... Are you looking for anything else for a seedling of that? My passiflora incarnata didn't come back from last year, otherwise I'd offer that.

Mark, I can take a photo tomorrow. See what you think.

A photo would be really cool, then I can get an idea at least and then I'd know how many I want if you can supply that many.
thanks,
Mark

I have some good sized roots if you would like some of them I have got one that is about 2in around and about 6 to 8 in long
I would love to trade for your P. Blue Horizon and P. Racemosa
I have a bunch of them that are smaller, I have had the vine for 5 yrs and it has tons of runners I can dig up if you would like to have some of them.

I went out and photographed the vines. Most are between 10 and 12 inches long. I've enclosed photos of typical sized vines. I could provide the number you need.
