found growing in the woods

My son found a bunch of banana trees growing in the woods. I believe someone probably dumped them thinking they were dead. We left most of them just to watch and see what wild banana trees would do, but I did bring a couple home with me.

Good grief! You FOUND them in the woods? LOL Only things I find in the woods either bite or cause nasty, itchy bumps. You will have to keep us posted on what type they turn out to be.

When I saw this-it reminded me of that song that goes like this:"when you go down into the woods today,you will be in for a great surprise". And boy you were-a good one:).
I don't remember any more or what the song was-just remembered those words when I saw your post.
