The longer you wait the better the flower. The first one of your own is the best. Enjoy it.
Mine is about to be in full bloom. It's got about 2 or 3 open right now, but is loaded down with buds. I can't wait! When I planted it three springs ago (Spring '03), it was a 2 foot stick - now, it's a 10 foot tree! This thing has grown fast!
