Seed Germination Database
Excellent resource - thank you, Pam.
Thanks Pam.
Glad to pass it on :).....it was NatureWalker who found it. It looks like I'll be having the printer doing a bit of work tomorrow (I hate it when links disappear after a while) :(
Thanks Pam. A great reference.
The Voting Booth forum has a lot of good links on this topic, this week.
Edited to say forum instead of thread. The current question (until Monday) is about seed sowing.

Thanks for the heads up Shannon Ü .....here's the link: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/498896/
I should have posted the link. Thanks, Pam! PS - nice out today, eh? :-)
It's gorgeous here (for now) ;) ....are you still in Saskatchewan?
Yep, up in Stoon until next Thursday afternoon. It was my grandmother's 82nd birthday yesterday - I try to spend some time visiting her whenever I can.
I've unpacked all the plants I brought on the plane from Victoria - they're out on Dad's deck now, getting some fresh air. Last night was too cold, but it's only supposed to go down to 9 tonight.
Linda mentioned you had to re-pack yours in the airport - what was that about? Did they have to go in cargo?
They didn't go in cargo but the paper bag I had them in they thought was too big (some of the plants stuck out by 8 inches or so). It would have fit under the seat but they were being very picky. :(
Yep supposed to be warm here tonight too but I noticed they are forecasting somewhat lower temps a little later in the week. Today was a great day to do some potting up outside. Ü
Mine were mostly in a flat box (it fit in the overhead bins), and a few in my small knapsack - they stuck out by about the same amount as yours, but that part was concealed between my feet when I was sitting down, so maybe noone noticed. I'll be glad when I can get them all in the ground where they belong. Got a few knowing glances from fellow travellers, that's for sure. :-)
This is also a great place for germination information. If you decide to print a copy of it set your margins at 1/2" or you will miss some of the info.
I have it marked as a favorite. Hope this helps anyone needing info.

Take care Marilyn
Thanks for the guide Marilyn. I believe it is the same one that Lilypon posted at the top of the thread. It is excellent, I agree and I too have it marked as a favorite.
