New here from Minnesota

Finally subscribed, and I am anxious to dive in! I moved here from CA four years ago. The first year I bought lots of plants from nurseries... the next I tried growing from seed under two shop lights with decent success - still bought a lot of plants. Up to four shop lights last year... didn't buy hardly anything, and this year I bought a three-tier light garden and set of shelves (up to 8 shop lights!)

I am afraid of what will happen next spring... this looks like a great place to increase my success!

Lucky you Zarebeth! I moved from CA (4th gen.) to MN in the late 80s. Only there for a couple years but I LOVE MN!!! That's where I got bit by the garden bug. That long anticipation for spring is very palpable and infectious! I even had a sugar maple in my yard and was visited by cedar waxwings and a piliated woodpecker (wow!). Extreme weather, wonderful people and that crazy accent. MN, my adopted home state. Welcome (I'm new this week too :)
