Thanks to DG and the encouragement I get here, I've decided to start some more seeds. Here is my greenhouse in the new location. I think it'll work better here where it can get some afternoon shade....(noticed the area's mowed this time lol)
New Beginnings...
Oh, jdee, you're doing so great. Everything looks lovely, and what a great husband to encourage and support you! Have fun!
Very pretty. I love your porch!!
Thank you so much. I love my porch. It's in sad need of a paint job, but I just tell people it's that distressed look that's so popular. After I brought the plants in for the winter, I was surprised at how plain and dull it looked to me. I looked so forward to putting them back out. Now my house (indoors) looks bare. lol Maybe I can get some cuttings off my ivies, and some babies from my spider plants and make some greenery for the indoors. At least I know how to do that. :)
Thanks again all. The encouragement really helps.

Jennifer, everything looks so wonderful. You are doing a great job. I wish I had a nice porch like yours. My stepdaughter who lives near Seattle has a continuous porch that surrounds her whole house (except of course in front of the side located garage). I really enjoy visiting her and always look forward to sittiing on the porch and enjoying nature cuz she is out in the country. I really like your plantstand and little wheelbarrow. Tell your husband that he did a great job mowing the yard! He seems like such a nice guy ... give him a big hug. If you are in need of plants, let me know. I have lots that I have to share with others at the CTRU and will probably have a lot to still give away. Look at the list I posted on the CTRU thread Part1 and email me if there is anything that you would like.
Wow, that's quite a list. I'm afraid I don't have anything to trade. I could root some pothos, or a spider plantlet, but that's all I have at the moment.
Those are only the plants I have rooted or I have thinned out. I don't need anything in trade because I am just so happy to send my plants to be enjoyed by others. Plus, I have so many plants, it is difficult to find room to plant more.
Oh jdee, I love your house! The porch looks great & I'm so excited for you!
Thank you so much. It's nothing big or fancy, and it's older, but I really love this house. The only thing that would make me love it more, is if it were in the country. lol
Actually, our street is a small one that ends, making a little more tucked away, so it's not so bad living in town. At least it's a small town.
How precious! I love those window boxes.:)
Older homes have such charm about them. Mine's an antique too.:) I think there is more falling apart than holding together but it's home.
I think the flower beds add a great touch to the front of the house. Hubby did good!
You have come along way since last year all your plants are looking great.
MsC
great house!
