I sowed them at September 14 and they started to bloom in 6 months.

You have that magic touch for plants!

Beautiful, Tomtom! How many seeds does it take to build this 'wall of flowers'? What are the dimensions of this 'wall'?

Thank you LIlypon, for your encouraging comment.

Ursula, thanks for your kind words. The walll is 50cm wide and 100cm tall.
It takes four seeds to build this. I'm enormously grateful to you for undergoing
such a thrilling experience.

The brachyceras wall is on display now like this.
From left to right: T. brachyceras,T.azureum,and T.tricolor.

I am speechless!

Tomtom, this is amazing!

When I saw the T. brachyceras picture I thought they were climbing - now I am confused, are they hanging? Beautiful!

May I suggest you post these pictures in the Vines and Climbers forum? I guarantee you the success they will cause!

Ursula, they're all climbing. The T.brachyceras props are as in the following picture.
Thanks a lot for your advice. I'll follow your advice and post the pics in the forum.

You never cease to amaze me, Tomtom. You have such great ideas for containers! What is the size of the pot? (measured across from the most wide part).

Be prepared for the surprises your seeds will give you, since Tropaeolums spontaneously hybridize very easily when there are two species nearby (and you have 3!).

Thank you so much for sharing your pictures and your knowledge with us!

Ursula
