"A week ago,the shelter asked for the public's help after realizing it had only a three-week food supply left for its homeless animals."

"By Friday,the Everett Animal Shelter had collected almost 14 tons, or 1,100 bags,of pet food.The shelter also recieved more than $8,000 in donations".

Some of the largess is being shared with the other shelters they are partnered with.The City has an excellent shelter and a good staff of volunteers as well.It's nice to see the community being so supportive of the shelter. A real 'feel-good' moment.
