This will be my first time for growing these Alibi lilies in containers.
Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated.
Should I put some SoilSponge in with the soil?

Miniature lilies in containers
Don't think you want anything to hold the moisture around the bulb. Lilies need good drainage.
My father and I put gravel in the bottom of the pots.
Ah, this is something I know about, not like brugs.
Must have good drainage. Plant almost on the bottom of the pot, so that stem roots are grown. After bloom, plant out in the garden. Take off the faded blooms so no seedpods are formed. You want strength to go into the bulb, not spending strength forming seeds.
Would be a good idea to plant bulbs in the garden after bloom is finished. If you want to have them potted up for next year, then plant them in the pot. That is, bury the pot in the ground. Make sure the rim of the pot is underground. You do not want sun to hit edge of the pot and conduct extra warmth down to the bulb. Lilies like cool roots. In Oct/Nov. throw a shovelful of soil over the pot, to make sure pot sides are well under the ground. You do not want cold to be conducted down by the pot .
Not too much nitrogen fertilizer. You want one with a low middle number for good root/bulb growth.

Thanks for your post. I'll paste it into my plant journal. Very good information.

Hel-up. I meant HIGH middle number for good root growth.
