Are Mosquitoe dunks safe for pond drinking pets?

I have mosquitoe larve in my pond. Dont want fish because my sprinkler system that waters my plants around my pond and I know that chlorine would harm my fish.
Can I add mosquitoe dunks without harming my pets?
Thanks

How large is your pond? Would a few drops of dechlorinator put in each time you use the sprinklers be a viable option? We top off our pond with untreated water right from the hose, and the fish suffer no ill effects; ours is 135 gallon, I think. Water-soluble fertilizers can be harmful to aquatic life, but I don't know that water from the sprinkler would be unless your pond is very small.

I may be wrong on this - I'm just telling you about our own experience with one pond. Anyone else?

Gardenwife, I am curious if your pond is one purchased from a wholesale club like Price Club or BJs? Is it a 2-parter with the top bog, larger pond and the pump/filter system was included?
The reason I ask is because I think the box mine came in said 135 gallons also so perhaps we have the same one. I bought mine last year and am very happy with the product and especially the cost!
I still dont think I want to go the fish way because I just gave away my fish to my sister and it was a releif not having to take care of them. I have enough on my plate without having to worry about fish!! LOL.
I am going to assume its ok for pets and wildlife.
thanks for your help.
