Harley and I went for a walk down our favourite trail this morning. There were lots of wildflowers blooming. I figured there would be so I took my camera along. Most of the flowers were the Erythronium revolutum or Pink Fawn Lily. Here are some of the buds.

Lovely photos, Sandy. It looks like you and Harley had a great walk !

Thanks for sharing the beautiful wild flowers
Very nice, Sandy! Thanks for sharing your walk with us. :Donna
Thanks Donna. I was going to add more but for some reason I couldn't get on here all of a sudden. Then I took mom shopping. It seems to be working fine now so I'll finish what I started.
The Oregon Grape is just starting to come into bloom. I hope you don't mind....I'm looking things up in the book Wild Flowers of the Pacific Northwest as I go just to see what species they are. I'm not sure if this is Berberis Aquifolium or Berberis Nervosa.
That is interesting. who new there was a wild "Bleeding Heart", western or otherwise. Very pretty though. I know hat you mean about this afternoon. Something was amiss on DG's. I couldn't get on either. :-%!
Lovely walk Sandy, almost as good as being there! Thanks.
Sandy, those are great photos, and thanks for the lesson.
Hi Sandy,
Lovely pix. Sorry that I didn't get up to see you. Great meeting you at Lindas house. Lovely walk with your pix. Will have to go see what if anything new is happening with Walmart.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the pictures....I enjoyed taking them. I hope it didn't seem too much like a lesson Linda. LOL It must be the school marm in me.
Heavens no Sandy, not like a school lesson at all, at least if it's flowers, I'm interested... LOL
do u ever see any bears or are they not in your part of vancouver?
I live on Vancouver Island. Yes, there are bears around. There was a mother and her cub who lived in our area for a number of years. Harley and I only saw her once. Unfortunately they killed her last year because she went too close to peoples' houses. You usually see more when you're up in the mountains or on the west coast of the island. Last year when I went on a kayak trip to Nootka Sound we saw lots of bears.
Sandy what kind of camera do you have? It takes amazingly clear photos.
Thanks for sharing.Solomon.
Lana, my camera is a Fuji FinePix A303. I did a lot of research before I bought it. It was the best one, at the time, for the price I was willing to pay.
Lana is right, Sandy. It does take fine pictures. Hope Ozzie is feeling a little better this morning.
Thanks Donna. Yes, Ozzie is feeling a lot better today and eating a bit I understand. I worked today then rushed off to volunteer at the Blood Donor Clinic so I haven't seen much of her other than to give her the medicine. I'm very relieved. It's awful seeing your pet suffering and not being able to do much.
