One of my bubbled brugs

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Is up from the basement, into the greenhouse for a few days then ready to start hardening off for planting straight in the ground.

She's tall, heavy and healthy, mine kind of lady--Rosamond.

She was the biggest one I had in the bubbler, what's amazing is the size of the root ball.

It's looking good Vi.

My Adora and some other cuttings I took did that too but I didn't use the bubbler, just changed the water every other day...I can't wait to get Rosamond out in the yard this summer. Good job.

Yes..I meant to say good job also :) It's so exciting when the weather starts to warm up and you can get the plants really going!

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Nice looking roots and brug. It will really get a good start on this season. I lugged out all my pots this week and yesterday had a storm with 70 mph winds. Did not bother them much as they are just putting on leaves.

Vi, how warm do you let it get in your greenhouse? Do you have the automatic vents or do you open doors / pull up skirts?

I finished mine Thu, watched temps Fri / Sat and moved most of my taller brugs out Yesterday. I thought it was going to be cloudy today and didn't open the doors when I left but the sun is shining now meaning that 10x12 could 90+ soon.

With the door and window open on mine, it will easily hit 85 on a 70 degree day. I keep a small fan running when it gets hot in there. Have to keep it cool enough that I can stand it.

I'm pretty lucky where I have mine situated, it gets lightly shaded when the leaves come out--which is now. If it gets too hot, I intend to use that fan shown, it's also a misting fan when hooked up to a hose. Right now I am leaving the door and window open and the fan going, no vents.

It's been so long since I used the GH, I don't even have a thermometer in there, lol. I had it redone a couple weeks ago, to about half it's size, it was 17 x 48.
