That is a gorgeous Torch Lily! Thank you for sharing it. Most people I know have grow them from bulbs, but I was interested to see that you grew it from seed. Did it take a few years before it flowered, or is it a fast grower from seed?

Oooh...so quick ...mine has just recently bloomed after sowing zeven years ago...maybe because our climate is different

Oh my Good Ness, after seven years....................????? You are right our climate is hot and may be because of this.

Wow, that is quite a difference in blooming time from seed! I was going to try it from seed, but maybe my best bet would be to grow it from bulb since I am all the way up in zone 6b. Or maybe I will try from both seed and bulb, and try putting the seedlings to overwinter in a greenhouse. At any rate, those are beautiful plants, Kaleed and Saya. Again, thank you for sharing them.
