germinating comfrey seed

I just rec'd some comfrey seed and am looking for some tips. I've never grown this from seed and was hoping someone here has and could give me some pointers. I only have 10 seed and want to do it right the first time.

I've started comfrey from seed before. As a matter of fact, I sowed some a few days ago. I believe I took a nail file to the coat, but can't recall.
