I bought a bunch of chives seed this year (5000, more than I Need). Can anyone tell me how, or if, I can save them to use next year. I have tried to save chives, and onion, seed before and they did not come up the second year. Any ideas?
Thanks
George
Saving Chives Seed
When they are totally dry, put them in a well sealed mason jar (in your climate you might want to include a pack of silica gel) and store in the fridge or freezer.
The colder the better as these have shorter viability than some others like beans, peas and maters.
