CLOSED: HAVE FOR SASE: Rose, Hybrid Tea "Folklore"

Waxhaw (Charlotte), NC(Zone 7b)

I have a 4 year old mature Hybrid Tea rose originally purchased from Pickering Nurseries in Canada.

It is called HT "Folklore" and is medium pink. Not very fragrant. The blooms are medium sized but perfectly shaped. Very beautiful.
It grows pretty tall during the growing season (4-5') which is too tall for me, and the reason I get rid of it.

I can't keep it anylonger and must send it now, or it will be thrown out. Instead of discarding it, I would be happy to give it away for postage. This is not a rooted cutting, or an small start. It is a 4 year old mature full size hybrid tea rose. It is a budded rose bought from Pickerings Nurseries in Canada.

I will cut the canes back, and dig and wrap the roots in moist newspaper for shipment. All you have to do is to send me a check or moneyorder for postage. I can not ship this one in the "flat fee" USPS shipping boxes. It is much too big. If you are interested, email me, and I will weight it and give you the total.

I wont charge anything for the rose, but I ask my shipping costs be covered (I'll throw in the box for free.. LOL).

The roses are just starting to leaf out. This one has not leaved out yet, but will soon, so need to ship now.

I am interested. can you estimate how uch it will cost?

Waxhaw (Charlotte), NC(Zone 7b)

For zipcode 77469 the costs will be as follows depending on weight:

4 lbs $8.50
5 lbs $9.85
6 lbs $10.05
7 lbs $11.00
8 lbs $11.95
9 lbs $12.90
10 lbs $14.00

Add to above $0.45 for delivery confirmation

I don't know the exact weight yet, but can tell you better over the weekend.
It will probably be in the range of $10-14 including delivery confirmation fee.

I hope it can fit in a regular package size, otherwise shipping will be more for a large package, but I think a regular package should do.

I will tell you more after the weekend.

I would love one! I'm in Mount Laurel, NJ. Please let me know how much and I'll send you the money right away.

Okay, read that wrong. Not have 4 but have a 4-year-old... anyway, if your first contact doesn't work out, I'll take it...

Kenneth, my rose arrived in yesterday's mail in PERFECT condition. Thank you very much. Postage going out to you today. You are a wonderful and generous trader. I soaked roots last night and potted it first thing this morning, while I prepare the area that will be its final localtion. Will post pix at the appropriate time. Again, thank you so much.
