Do I transplant into the big pots, or graduate them from the little pots until they fit the big ones? Thanks for any help.

Burgs delivered, now what?
What size are they in now? Also, how big are the rooted plants? Do you have a digital camera so you could show us? Just remembering plants that I ordered in the past.....I believe I put them into gallon size pots for a while, but I'm in cold country and can't put them outside yet.
Okay, they are pretty small in the root area, so I would put them in gallon pots, or even quart size for a while and let their roots stretch out. There is less chance of them getting root rot in smaller amounts of dirt while it is still cool at night. When the days and nights are both warm, they can go to bigger pots and will get along just fine. You are on your way. Can't wait to see them in full bloom.
Congrats Viv!
Brugie - I've seen it mentioned often about the pot being too big for a brug. Since it has potential to be a big plant/tree anyway, why must it always be crowded? Is it too promote blooms vice root development? There are somethings like the ubiquitous spider plant that must be rootbound before it starts shooting runners and blooming.
Thought this would be good time to ask.
I don't think they have to be rootbound, but a better root system going into a big pot just gives less chance for roots to rot in soil that will remain wet (big pot) because of not having enough plant to use the moisture. Smaller pots will NOT remain wet long. The plant uses the moisture as well as the environment helping to draw the moisture out. Less chance of root rot. Make any sense? My brain hasn't been fortified with coffee yet this AM.
Thanks, Brugie, one is quite wilted this a.m. ofcourse its the one my DH bought the bunch for, the smallest of the lot, hope it picks up. getting coffee.
I put them in pots about that size too. One is still wilted, but not guite as much as this morning. I think they may survive my brown thumbs..
