is starting to bloom. She fills the GH with her scent.
It's been a long winter and I'm so ready to finally have some blooms.
Mountain Magic.....

Just beautiful. Your gh looks great.
She is really a beautiful brug. Her color would be hard to beat. She bloomed so nice and heavy for me last year....that the color of the whole plant made me think of Christmas. Not red, but very close. I love this one.
WOW, Terry, outstanding, a real eye catcher!!! Don't you let those bad bears take her away from you, lol. Do you expect for her to become darker as she continues to flush?? I cannot wait to see...
MT is beautiful Terry.
Beautiful color and form! Terry, do you think she will be available to others at any time soon? Is she registered yet?
Margie
Margie she is already making the rounds from those that have her and are sharing. I sent out several cuttings last year as well.
When she grows big enough this summer I will be happy to share.
Terry, has Mountain Magic been grown in hot/humid conditions, such as mine in southeast Arky, zone 8a??? I love her so much that I would hitchhike to Woodsville to pick her up, but, I'm learning that some of the brugs I loved the absolute most, do not like the growing conditions here. What do you think, should I set my heart on her or should I look for one that can tolerate my growing season better?? TIA!!!
Terry...I would be so very happy to have her...thank-you! If you don't mind I will put it on my calendar to remind you later in the summer! Nothing like making you feel stuck, hah!?
Actually I see you didn't exactly say, share with me...but I think you meant it!?
Thank you again, Margie
Sherry, I have this beautiful brug even further into the hot and humid south than you are located. I can tell you she's pretty darn amazing! She's flowering now, as we speak. I got mine as a small plant last summer and she "y"ed in the heat of the summer. She held her buds like a pro and grew well. Not a fast grower, but very steady and strong - nice thick branches. She's also gotten very dark pink for me. Sets pods easily and gives up a good amount of pollen. Yup, this brug is worthy of all her praise, as is Terry for hybridizing her!
Gorgeous color!
Gosh, that's great news Carter!! It's been years since I've been in Houston, but I do recall that it's almost tropical, similar to NO. I feel certain if it would grow in Houston it would do well here.
Now, I'm hopefully wishing - thanks for the info, Carter!!!
Great Brug. Dixie
Terry, She is beautiful!!
Which one is the one next to MM the pale pink one?

Terry, she is very pretty. I think I like the pinks the best.
Glad to hear she's doing so well for you Carter.
Xomed the pale pink one with the long tendrils is Northern Peaks.
SherryLike MM did very well in FL and GA too so she doesn't seem to mind heat and humidity.
I just hope i don't kill mine....any hints on what it likes? I did take not on morning sun and afternoon shade. I'm thinking the same treatment as EP?
Jen EP can't tolerate cold temperatures.
MM did very well with temps in the high 30's and 40's last fall.
This past winter she was in a corner of my livingroom heated with a woodstove. Air hot and dry all winter and she did fine.
I don't think she's a fussy plant and will do fine in different envirements.
I find that the flowers on all my plants last a couple of days longer if they get afternoon shade.
With only 3 months to see them flower outside I want the flowers to last as long as possible. LOL
Okie dokie. The cutting is small, but looks like its taken root (yipppeeeee) ...its in a small pot and i think i see a leaf.
