Dremel works! Yeah!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Well, last weekend, I turned on the Dremel to see what Pebbles thought of it.... she came right over and sniffed it and put her nose on the handle. Sound and vibration did not seem to bother her. So I turned it on and off with her near a few times over the next hour or so. After that, I trimmed her hair on her feet, then turned on the Dremel. Still not distress from her, so lightly touched her nail.... she didn't care! By doing one nail at a time for the first few nails, then a foot at a time when I saw she was not scared, the outcome is that by the end of the day on Sunday, Pebbles had the shortest nails she's had in years..... and she never minded it one bit.

If I had known this, I sure would have bought one sooner!!!

My vet had told me that some dogs are very sensitive to the "pinching" as the regular nail trimmers cut the nail. We figure that is what was wrong with Pebbles, since in all other things she is a bright, happy, outgoing dog. Since the Dremel does not pinch.... no problem!

Thanks to ALL for the suggestions!!!!
