Does anybody remember how Linda cooked that wonderful Salmon?
I think she said she put on it
dill
onions
wrapped it in tin foil and BBQ for 1/2 hour.
Was there anything I missed?
Pam ...........who has got to cook hers tonight.
BC's Wild Spring Fresh Salmon
Sounds fgood.
aybe some butter dabbed here and there. Of course, by now you have probably eaten it.
Inanda guess where - where web also has salmon from Fishermans Wharf for dinner tonight. Not wra[ped
Thanks Ginny :).....I wasn't sure if it was butter or oil she used. We are waiting for our son to come home so we haven't cooked it yet.
is it too late?
I didn't get online last evening
no oil or butter, that way the skin will stick to the foil and you won't have ti remove it.
lots of dill, raw onion rings, and lemon slices, usually about 10 min per inch thick, but it did that one about 15, and one part of it wasn't quite done.
The prawns, just a clove of garlic, crushed, and butter, and fry them up in about 3 min, until the flesh is white and the shells are pink.
Thanks Linda...it's a little late for the Salmon, but even without the lemon it came out close to yours!!! DH and DS lOVED it! Ü Will do the prawns tonight. I'm glad to have the exact recipe tho....Safeway informed me they do bring the spring Salmon in so will follow your recipe exactly with theirs!!! Ü

I do salmon or rainbow trout up in the oven in the winter
I do get them at costco, and I put the skin side down ( as they are large filllets)
on foil and put alittle light olive oil brush it on
, add dill and wrap
in foil and pop it in the oven for 25 to 30 mins on 350F.
my family just loves it..
and shrimp I do the same as MG 99 does and they are just so yummy..
and if you don't like too much garlic taste just add lemon juice to it..
serve with rice.
wasn't at the RU but that's the way I do mine..
Will have to get adventerous and try more fish (thank you for the oven recipes Wilma:)

You are welcome
We love fish and it is good for you...
I know.....we tended to eat the canned stuff and the frozen english style fish and chips. For years the kids wouldn't eat anything else so I gave up on other types of fish. We ate soooooooo much canned tuna that I thought I'd turn into one. I now have a hard time looking at it. DS now works at Superstore as a fishmonger and he is becoming more interested in some of the other varieties of the seafood.
Now unfortunately they are both becoming fans of shrimp.....I miss the good old days when I could have larger portions of the hoiday shrimp cocktails. ;)
