Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

I'll get a couple of the tubers bundled up and ready to head your way doll. I checked all of the stored tubers last evening and saw new 'eye' growth on all of them, so they are ready to plant.
I have never shipped bulbs before so don;t know how safe a bubble envelope would be with them.
I kinda doubt it would be safe enough though........................

(Zone 7a)

I think it will be cheaper and better for us both. I don't have a problem receiving tubers in a bubble envelope...Plants...that's a different story...LOL LOL. Just wrap the tuber (dry) in a paper towel newpaper...etc.

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Will do :-)
Let me know if it arrives squished

what a pretty baby Kim, you got the touch girl !!!!
I know what you mean I have not been on line too much, I have been digging a new daylily bed, about 6 inches at a time. Dig for 5 minutes and rest for 10. I have already had 2 back surgeries and Jerry has threatened me within an inch of my life not to hurt my back again.
I have 19 new varieties to pick up at the growers garden in April, I forget how many we got from the co-op and then there is all my good friends who trades and sends me stuff. I think I have enough of the bed dug to take care of most of them, it has zoysia grass and I have had to dig it out with the shovel.
Now to figure out where to put all the Winter Sow babies--lol

Hi Kim, sound like it but I though I'd ask, are the Stargazers spoken for? Perhaps we could work up a multi-plant trade.

(Zone 7a)

nope..not spoken for :-D

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Hi Kim. Noticed you have Aruncus and Hepatica on your wish list, and I just happen to have both, hehehe! Perhaps a lovely woodland assortment can go in your box.

(Zone 7a)

gemini...I put the bulbs aside for you :-D
I neeeeeeds to know when that Hepatica is coming up???????? LOL LOL

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Your timing is impecable. I just came in from digging and the hepatica is up and going and the red trillium are showing color. Are you still looking for Aruncus? I'm not seeing that up yet but I'll keep looking for it this week. I think I should be able to get your box out Monday. Thanks Kim.

(Zone 7a)

Nooo I'm not looking for it anymore...I have a Corydalis Solida that is coming up and about to flower I can put that kind in too...so keep on digging that Hepatica...LOL LOL

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Wonderful! Would 6 of each of the red trillium and hepatica be enough?

(Zone 7a)

OH Yeah...I'll have to come up with some other things for you. What ya looking for?

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Well let's see-hmmm. Any other corydalis you may have extras of would be great, or just suprise me! The lastest expansion to my garden that I'm trying fill is shady and semi-shady. Bold foliage and bright, intensely colored flowers are what I'm using there, so anything that fits that description would be great. Thanks Kim

(Zone 7a)

Ohhhh Surprises!!! That's really easy...LOL
Surprises it will be! I may get your box out Sat. if my boxes arrived that I ordered from USPS.com

(Zone 7a)

Whooops! I found my Hepaticas coming up...he he he. Oh Well the more the merrier!! LOL LOL

Would you rather have some fairy bells perhaps, or some really funky looking blue cohosh? Or perhaps some bulblets of my heirloom amaryllis? There's a pic of it in the id forum.

(Zone 7a)

Oooooo Ahhhhhhhh what's fairy bells????

(Zone 7a)

although funky looking Blue Cohosh sounds cool too! The Hepatica is still good..what color are yours? Mine are white..and the more the merrier! :-D

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Hi Kim, The fairy bells are the genus Disporum, but I'm not sure the species name. They are about a foot tall and have pendulous 6 petaled yellow flowers in spring. I'll toss one in so you can try it, they're subtle, but very pretty. The hepatica seem to range between various shades of periwinkle to almost white.

(Zone 7a)

Well do whatever you like! I love woodland plants. I'm fixing you a box..and I hope you like what I put in it...LOL

(Zone 7a)

Canna still available....

Boy you guys sure know how to please a gal!

Marc, My Dahlia is growing!!! happy happy joy dance....

Neal, The trillium is much more beautiful then I imagined!!!!!

Sandra, Do you want your baby now??
