I have two large trades of chives (see photos). These chives are perennials and have large roots. They are grown for their round hollow leaves which have an oniony flavor. They taste great in soups, salads, and sauces. I tasted one of these and almost put them back in my garden. Great flavor! I am looking for simple sun loving perennials that can take the South Carolina heat or any variegated outdoor plant. I am not picky, so any offer will most likely be accepted.
CLOSED: Have 2 large trades of chives
What are you seeking in trade, I have roses, dahlias, cannas, hemerocallis, thyme, rosemary, etc.
If you have a rooted La France, I would love to trade all of my chives in the photograph for one. Otherwise, any flowering, sun-loving perennials or sun-loving roses will be fine. I have never grown dahlias. Can they withstand full sun?
The chives have been out of the ground for 4 days, and so some of them have turned yellow. These will multiply like crazy and you will have plenty of them every year. They have a very strong onion scent, and will keep some rodents out of your garden. They are mighty tasty too.
Let me know if you would like to make a trade. You can dg email me if you would like.
