Question regarding herbs with flowers

Hi,

Last year I tried to grow flowers.........that didn't work out. LOL But I did have luck with gladiolas(sp). They are coming up again this year!! My question is this, I want to turn that garden into an herb garden, it is ok to leave those bulbs in?? Are the glads. poison?? Will my family and I be able to eat the herbs??? I need more room in my veggie garden that thought this would be a good idea.

I've grown herbs among my glad bulbs for space reasons and never had any problems with it.

By the way, hello from Mount Laurel! Did you hear about the landscaping fair to be held 5/23? It will be at Laurel Acres here in Mount Laurel. If you want some info, I can email it to you.
