I ordered an Esulenta bulb from Pinetree Nurseries and haven't received it yet. I wanted it for a foliage plant on my deck this summer. Is it too late for planting in my area? I guess what I mean to say is,will it have time to put up any substantial growth for this summer as I don't have a greenhouse.Wondering if I should cancel my order.
Thanks!
Gail
Esculenta question
I would call them- maybe your area hasn't been realsed yet. Also they fill thier orders in order of order (am I making sense? If I ordered one and you ordered one and my order came in first they would fill mine before yours... better?)
I have had questions about an order a couple times and they are always really helpful on the phone.

Golgi, you will be fine. When you get it, pot it up in an ice cream bucket, large pot or what you have. Keep it somewhere sunny and warm. It will take off in no time at all! I have just started all mine and you are a zone behind me. It takes them a bit to sprout, but once they do, you better back off. LOL
I would have been happy to send you some. I was digging em up and throwing them away until I figured out that people want em. They grow wild here. I like them and want a few, but they are constantly popping up all over the place. I just mailed off about thirty to one person on this website. Will probably ship off some more soon. I have a couple of people interested in them. As soon as I dig up some more, they will be shipped off. Of course, they are kind of small. I dig em up while they are young.
