CLOSED: WANT: Lots of Rosemary

Taylor, TX(Zone 8b)

I need LOTS of good-sized rosemary plants, for cheap. I killed all mine when I moved them last fall. Forgot to cut them down and they got stressed out. Nothing good on the Ole Ebay. So I am looking to either:
*buy if you guys could recommend a place
*trade
*postage

Thanks for your help.

Hey if you find a good cheap place let me know to - love this stuff in the garden. Mitch

Have you tried your local grocery store? Mine (Publix) sells whole herb plants (in small pots). I got my rosemary plant there, of all places, and it's just been going gangbusters since (it's probably 2-3 years old now). I'm thinking they were like $1.99?

I'm gonna try there, thanks!

Never thought of that ( I dont go most of the time but I can tell my wife and maye if I am good she will get me one)

In the grocery store where they sell fresh herbs, grab a packet. strip the leaves of the bottom two thirds of the stems. Place the stems in good potting soil with the leaves still showing. 3 out of 4 make it for me. It's almost as easy as starting willow.

That's what I'm thinking of doing. I used to send out sprigs like that all the time before I killed mine.

Let me know if you want me to pick one up for you next time I am at my grocery store...I'm sure I could figure out a way to ship it! :)
