Bindi is afraid of storms!

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

I feel awful and have had the CD player turned up to drown it out. But she still can sense there is a storm out there.
She came through the rungs on the kitchen gate to get in the livingroom with me. I thought she might feel safer in there away from the open windows. But she has put on a few pounds. She is up to 10 lbs now. She got through to her hips and then couldn't come forward. That is when I noticed her. I couldn't push her back of pull her forward so just gave up and let her figure it out. She finally squeezed through. I have to block off the rungs now so she can't actually get stuck in there. It was a little scarey for a while. These guys can get into the darndest predicaments.
I thought ten lbs was tiny, but today at the vets this woman had two full grown chihuahuas. I asked her what they weighed and she said 4 lbs! Gosh! I don't think something that little can live in my house without being trampled by the other pets. LOL
It just goes to show, weight is only relative...now where is the chocolate (for me)
