I would like the lemon yellow columbine and the lilac-raspberry delphinium. I don't have seeds, but I do have a hardy purple mum that is spreading and needs to be divided or cuttings can be made and started. Would this interest you? Thanks!

Deb

It is a light purple, not dark dark.

edited for the color clarification!

Iris luver... The mum piece or cutting would be lovely. If you can take a few cutting put them in a small zippy bag and mist inside the bag, and put in a padded envelope they should make it here just fine if ya don't want to take the time to root them.

Charoletta , got ya down and would love to have some of your mums.

NatureWalker have ya marked down too.

If your not in the exchange please send me your addy. : )

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

New York & Terrell, TX(Zone 8b)

Ok, I'm there; going to check what bulbs are coming up behind the house. Those ones are there from previous owers.

I need to find a place to ID sprouting bulb leaves...
So far there are stray Iris, Crocus, Allium & the ones above.

Ella, let someone else have my canna seeds- I dont think I'm up to that yet . LOL

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

Jackie... A Dahila bulb would be fine for what you asked for. It should travel ok in a bubble envelope to save on shipping. Just have the post office stamp it Fragile or Hand stamp.

Charlotte... will send ya some canna seeds anyways. Once ya nick em you'll do fine . : ) Lots of help here on the forums and before ya know it you will be a seed sprouter. : )

New York & Terrell, TX(Zone 8b)

Jackie,

2 of the longer bulbs you sent me were found to be cracked in half please watch. Place them in with more packing stuff around them. I unwrapped them for a second time to get them out of the box; to plant today.

Oh Robin,
In the email you sent you said they looked great, I'm sorry, I didn't know. I will send you a few more tomorrow, along with the snail vine seeds.
I gave you clumps so that you would get more flowers, and sent them like that before with no problems, so I feel really bad. Live and learn, I guess. I'll use a larger box next time if you think the post cracked them.
I want you to have pretty dahlias in your garden! They winter over so nicely here, so you will enjoy them alot!

Thank you Ella, I will send you a few dahlias, in a well-padded box, and not an envelope LOL
I found your address in the exchange.

Interested in hosta
bleeding heart
yellow columbine if you can find something on my list Shirley

New York & Terrell, TX(Zone 8b)

Jackie; the 2 that were cracked in half were under all the others, I hadn't taken them out all the way to fully inspect them all at the time. Maybe the box was tossed? Write "Fragile Bareroot Bulbs" on all 4 sides. Maybe with more moss inside?

So sorry to hijack your thread Starlight.

Starlight1153..........how do you count Lisianthus seed....its so tiny......just courious....

Deann

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

Deann ... LOL... They tiny but not so tiny as begonia seeds. I count them the same way I plant them. I take a white 3 x 5 card and bend it in the middle and use a plant tag to plop one seed into each plug flat cell.

Takes forever and I usually can only do so many trays of teeny weeny seeds and the I have to some some big ones before going back to the small ones.

There is always lots more than 10 seeds with the what I call " Don't dare sneeze seeds, sniff or breathe too much seeds!" LOL

I shake some in the crack of the card make sure there is at least ten and just dump the whole thing in a seed baggy. : )
