When I got back from town yesterday there was a message from my vet to call. Didn't know what to think...good news leave a message...bad needs to talk to me....or just wanted to touch base personally rather then leave a message. I called and he was with a client..hurry up and wait for a call back.
The tumor was a low grade fibro sarcoma which of course spells malignant. Dr. Favaloro said it was a good thing we removed it when we did. It may well come back in the same general area. This type of tumor doesn't usually spread elsewhere,but it is possible though highly unlikely. So now we play the wait and see game.
