Kathy, are you close to any Asian markets? Eclipse just posted about getting some there. Several others have as well. For two years I grew a Melanga. It was huge last year, easily 4-5 feet tall. It croaked on me this passed winter. Hubby just picked me up two more. I am going to go hit our biggest, almost famous specialty market as soon as I get a chance. You can get them for less than $2 a pound

KDJ - I would love to have them. I can use several so if that box is a single layer I'll take them. Do you accept pay pal? My address is 603 Clifford St, Pearisburg, VA 24134

Badseed, I don't have Asian markets which is hard to believe since I work in a college town -Blacksburg (Va Tech Hokies).

Tammy, after I get them planted I would be glad to send you any that's left, for postage.

KDJ, send me your paypal info or I can mail you the money. Let me know.
THANKS Kathy

Our Walmart just advertised EEars for $2.99 so I went to get some and to my surprise they had the Gigantis ones for only $5! I don't thinktoo many people are familiar with them so they may have them awhile. Check out your Walmart, or I'll try to get you some here.

KDJ,
Do you want to send them and I'll mail you the money or ? Let me know. How much do you think it will cost? Any idea what the weight is?

SMR,
Our walmart has them also, $2.50 each. They have done well in the past but I thought a DG person may have some they no longer want.

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

I bought several at local Asian and Latin markets last year (food crop)....$.99 per lb. Each one grew and have over wintered for me, all are now resprouting.
These of course are un-named, but did great as foliage plants in my 'tropical' bed with the hardy bananas.

Tammy - we won't be getting the ears after all. kdj gave them away :(

If anyone else has some to share for postage please let me know. Or possibly I have something you want to trade.

Kathy
