HUGE CLEARANCE on Tulips, Daffs, and Hyacinths

Corte Madera, CA

Breck's Instant Blooms.

$4.99/6-pack then use coupon code: 706971 to save up to $20.

I ordered 4 6-packs, used the coupon, and paid for only for the $5.95 S&H. Feels like a good deal to me =))).

what did you buy?

Taylor, TX(Zone 8b)

darn! i tried and it said "offer expired"

Lawrenceville, GA(Zone 7a)

At least you saved your money. Any kind of Fall bulb would have been a waste of money, even at that price. There ought to be a law to sell Fall bulbs after January 1st.

Joseph, OR(Zone 5a)

They have been chilled, have they not? So what would be so bad about it?

Lawrenceville, GA(Zone 7a)

I seriously doubt it that they have been kept in controlled rooms. What kind of bulbs were they?

Taylor, TX(Zone 8b)

I tried to get lilies and type in the coupon code for the $20 off.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I'm pretty sure that "Instant Blooms" bulbs are Brecks are ones that have been chilled, so people who did not get around to planting fall bulbs could have "instant" tulips & daffs this spring.

Corte Madera, CA

thanks for all the responses. i think the deal became buy one pack and get the next free when the coupon expired.

sorry for writing just now. i was away on a trip.

well, they are here and i will plant them right away. been waiting for me for at least a couple of days already...i hope no damage done. they are the pre-chilled kind (or whatever the right term is).

i hope you are all having fun and enjoying spring. can't wait to work the yard. arrived very dark last night.

MG,
Sounds like a great deal to me.
I'm a Bargain Betty so my hat's off to you!
My only problem with Brecks is that they are a sister company of Michigan Bulbs (or the same company) It's hit and miss with them, regarding quality and customer service.
If you ever checked them out on the Watch Dog pages you would agree, you got lucky on that account.

All's well that ends well right *S*
I can't wait to see photos of your beauties when they bloom

dovey, thanks for the garden watch dog reminder. i always check the list, and did read the reviews. this is another positive BRECK'S experience for me. hoping they are changing for the good, and i didn't just get LUCKY.

i did order some daffs (fall shipping) from bloomingbulbs.com, too.

Columbus, OH(Zone 5b)

I've never ordered from BRECK'S ... I have to say I have been tempted.
Maybe I'll check out bloomingbulbs.com

Moonglow.....

Don't let me be the one to tone down your enthusiasm.....you are in zone 10a and that in itself is already a challenge for these bulbs. I sincerely hope they will do well, but I would have bought a lottery ticket.

Corte Madera, CA

bleek, and i thought they're the easiest things to grow where i live...i bought the instant bloom bulbs only after my initial success with the "late" bulbs i planted late jan-early feb.
