Any clues on this little(really little) guy.The DOF line is as wide as his body. This was f11, you can see the problems with getting things in focus close up. Look and see what is in focus underneath him.

Depth of field. it is what is in focus as it relates to the complete range of the picture. The higher the f stop the greater the depth of field. f2.8 not much f16 much, much more. When you focus on a point it is what is in focus in front of it and in back of it also.

Ohhh...thanks! I've been using my automatic 35mm and digital camera for so long now I don't think I remember how to work any manually.
