kathy
I'd love some of those green zebra tomato seeds if you have any left. I have my original seed list on my trade list, but have "extras" of many many seeds that I have received either through companies or by ordering them. I will try to make a list that I can copy and paste. (This will take awhile - I have a lunch bag crammed full of them).
I just re-read your message. I also have Rutger Tomatos & Abe Lincoln Tomatoes - both are heirlooms, the Abe is intedetermite, but the Rutger almost behaved that way as well last year, and I actually liked them the most. You could have both.
Karrie
HI karrie we don't like the taste of the rutgers LOL, got anything else other than the abe lincoln. I do have some green zebra left. I didn't see anything on your trade page either.
kathy
You didn't like the taste of Rutgers? Maybe it was your soil - ours were fabulous.
I had a few from other varieties that were given to me this year, but just finished sowing them in flats about an hour ago (can you believe that). I sowed: "Hawiian" (currant cherry like, label said), Yellow Brandywine, Brandywine (sudduth strain), Wonder Light (good stuffer), Gold Medal, Prudens Purple, and Black (don't have the original label in front of me).
If you would like any of these NEXT year, I'll be collecting seed from them this summer and will have them to share.
Karrie
Alright Kathy, it sounds like we have a deal :).
I'll give you all the infos about those plants to grow, could you please do the same.
My address is in the address exchange list, what about yours?
Jennifer
I don't think there's a tomato around I don't like, I think my husband might not have liked it. he's got strange tastes LOL. I wouldn't mind trying that black one. Been looking for a dark colored tomato like deep purple looking can't remember the names of those colored ones though send me some of the abe lincoln and i'll send you some of the green zebra ok.
kathy
Well hun, save a zebra for me next year, and I'll save a black one and a prudens purple for you. I think you just mentioned earlier you found abe lincoln in your box. ????? If not, let me know whether to send it to you. I got prompts for email and threads - so these can get mixed up sometimes.
