AND THE WINNER IS..........................

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Richteaz for his picture THE HANGING BASKET THAT BECOMES A HOME, March 14th, 6:10 AM. Great series Rich, everyone loved the pictures. I hope when the babies hatch you can do an update for all of us.

Margie for her great picture on March 13th at 2:18 came in second.

And we had so many other great pictures, everyone was a winner. THANKS

Sorry, I can't upload the winning pictures. I am on an ibook and it doesn't even have a mouse. Misery! Maybe someone could upload the winning pictures on this thread for me.

I will talk with Rich and see what he prefers for his prize and I think Margie should get a prize also.

I hope everyone in the Contest and all the Voters read this.

When I posted my series of pictures I thought it was just "Spring Pictures". I later got the impression that it was to be pictures from "THIS Spring". I later made a post apologizing for the mix-up and considered myself out of the running. That's why I haven't posted until now, a friend made me aware of this. I felt the fool for doing what I did so I just never went back to it.

In all fairness, if indeed the pictures were to be of "this spring", it would not be right for me to claim the prize. I posted pictures from last year only because up here there were no signs of spring yet, again, Sorry. So perhaps the prize should go to whomever came in second.

And Kell, there was a break in the series. My final photo shows the four hungry mouths screaming for food. As soon as they saw my camera they must have thought I was there to feed them. So as not to endanger them or their lives I stopped taking pictures so their parents could attend them without me bothering "The Family".

But again, if the Contest was for "This Springs Photos" I must decline the prize! And I am sorry for the confussion and any troubles I've caused. Truly!

Rich, don't worry about it. We are all friends here and we really did enjoy your pictures. Pictures taken this year of the same subject would look the same anyway. Honesty is worth a lot.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

What a guy! How many people would be that honest.

I say congratulations to everyone who posted pictures, as they were all wonderful. I didn't vote, because I just couldn't decide between so many of them.

Wyano, PA(Zone 6a)

Richard
I'm so impressed with your honesty. You've won all the way around with me! Congratulations to both you and Margie!

Rich, that's so nice of you. You're a big winner. Congrats to you both.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I haven't forgotten this contest. I need to check tomorrow what special brugs I have rooted. I haven't seen my Susanne cuttings around so I wonder if my DH disposed of them or if I tucked them somewhere secluded to root. I do know I have a few RK's that just rooted while I was away.

I will get back to Rich and Margie when I figure out which brug I will be sending them. Thanks guys for being patient with me.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

I am so happy for both of you!!!. Your two photos were my faves...especialy yours, Marge...(sorry Richteaz...but it pulled a cord from childhood, I think). You both did a super job...good taste!!
