I just got back from my post-op exam. The doc said I healed beautifully. She didn't even have to dissolve any scar tissue. She said the growht had been larger than expected, but it turned out to just be a growth, not cancer and not endometriosis or a fibroid tumor. Just a growth. An enormous pimple (the size of a golf ball) in the wrong place. LOL
To thank her, I surprised her with a box of plants:
Lambs ears (aka bandaid plant, aka doctor plant)
White Peony (known as a chinese herb from which a tonic is made to cure gynecological problems and cramps.)
Naked Ladies (the bread and butter of a gyne. practice)
Some white narcissus nicknamed Angel's Tears (Her name is Angela)
Some white irises because white is an angelic color and white is the color docs wear (and because I had a bunch!).
I also gave her some goats milk soap
She was absolutely delighted with the plants. She was tickled with the names of them. I even made professional markers for the plants. She said she loves to play in the dirt, but doesn't know much about plants yet. Her Mother in Law moved here recently and she just completed the master gardeners course so my doc is hoping to learn a bit about plants. She was just so delighted! And I'm so glad. Not everyone gets excited about plants, and I didn't know how she'd react.
She also said everything looks great and I don't have to go back to see her for a year! YES!
Of course, I'll see her before then because I am growing her a clitoria vine at Badseed's wonderful suggestion. LOL
Now I need to find some Stevia. Her hubby is trying to weene himself from refined sugar AND his name is Steve! Stevia is a natural sweetener used instead of sugar. I hope I can find some so I can carry it to her with the Clitoria.
Also, her children are Ben and Josh. If y'all have any plants or know any plants with any of these names or that relate to her profession (a gyne), let me know if you'd like to trade.
I have lots of named cannas to trade, as well as other plants (see previous posts). Thank you!

Ihave angle wing begonia cuttings
Hi Maineroses,
I have angel wing begonias too. But I want something simple for the doc to take care of so I'm not sending her any houseplants, just perennials so she can plant them and forget 'em. She's an OBGYN, on call at the hospital alot, has two kids, and a husband. So she's pretty busy. I'm trying to make it simple for her for now. Thanks for the offer though. That may be a plant I give her for her office at a later date.
As it turns out, I may be meeting her Mother in Law soon. She is in the Master Gardener's group and my best friend is in the MG group with her. Small world!

Hey Butterfly Chaser,
Glad to hear the good results! Way cool!
