Meet Damiana,
She was born last Saturday night making her another aries to add to our herd. She's a pistol! Mom is in better shape than Pam...lol. This one was two weeks past the due date so now we get a brief rest and begin again with Nadja, who is due on Friday. Ahhh the horse business, If its not the poop, the feed, or the silly accidents these critters have, it's the mares deciding they need to cook a little longer...lol. Seeing this foal makes the sleepless nights worth it.
Damiana will be registered as a Trakehner, Her mother, Donamia is of a famous line and her father, Hohenstein lives in Germany. His swimmers swam all the way across the Atlantic and North America to get to Donamia. Mark Spitz should be so fit..lol.
