I live in southwest Florida on an island that is a veritable bird sanctuary. Almost an aviary. But, where oh where are the hummingbirds? Have they never been here, or have we driven them away?
Hummingbirds
I envy you. I live in Iowa (we are celebrating 70+ degrees here today after a long, cold winter) and one of my travel wishes is the Florida keys. I feed birds here and in the summer, I see an occasional hummingbird. My favorite Iowa bird is the cardinal. Have a great day.
