This is what they tell me my cat Furrball needs to get her to stop scooting. A diet would probably help also, but I am feeding two cats, and they already combined eat less than 3/4c a day. I dont' free-feed, we eat in two portions - breakfast & dinner. Furrball doesn't eat much, and my other cat is at a great weight, so I don't really want to decrease feeding portions.
My local (new) vet said that this surgery would eliminate the folds "back there" that are holding back urine, causing her discomfort that prompts her to scoot 'yuck' across my carpeting.
palmbob - resident vet, sir --- your feedback , please. do you think this is a reasonably easy surgery, and what should I expect from Furrball during recovery?
TIA,
Jennifer
