Question from newbie

Can I have answers to my postings e-mailed to me? If so, how do I do this.

Welcome to DG. I know what you are talking about but no we don't do that here at DG the answers to your post are on the threads, you can watch the thread and it will show up for you on your home page when you come back to DG so you know somebody replied.

Hope you plan on spending lots of time here, it's addictive

Hello Joan, At the top of the page you have posted on, you will see a spot to "watch thread" or "unwatch thread" click on watch to see new responses. If you do that you will see it at the top of the DG page when you sign on. Also, if you don't want to read all the previous posts you've already read, you can click on Skip to new right then.

if you want to write to a particular person, you can click on their name to the left of the post and their profile page will come up. Click on send email to so and so and you can do that privately. If they care to write back to you privately, that's the place. :) and if they do write back and you haven't been on DG for a few days to see it on the DG page, you will get an email to the one you have listed in your profile. Hope this all makes sense.
