Today I received 25 bareroot Asparagus 'Mary Washington' that I thought had been canceled from my order. In the meantime, I had gotten some from another source, so I now have many extras. I have previously done some seed trading, and I thought this might be a good way to get into a little plant trading.
The way I see it, I have 7 trades of 3 roots each. They look pretty nice. I would be very interested in trading these for part shade/shade perennial divisions. I'm easy; tempt me!
Amy
Edit: I have four trade remaining; I'll take just about anything...

CLOSED: asparagus roots for trade
Hello Amy, I do not know what to offer... Hmmm, I have some unnamed Iris... I have some large canna bulbs... and I have some peony roots. I also have some indoor things like silver squill, pregnant onion, spider plants, philodendron... please let me know if I have anything that interests you... Starr
what are you looking for?
fsr333 - I would be happy to trade for a few irises. Do you happen to know what kind they are (bearded, siberian, etc.)? I am in the addy exchange, and I will get your asparagus out to you on Thursday.
maineroses - I am interested in hardy (z6) outdoor plants, especially shade/part shade perennials. I would also be interested in well rooted woody cuttings or small plants. An old fashioned shrub rose would be great, which I thought worth mentioning considering your username :)
They are tall bearded that I got from my Grandma. I do not know their name. They are a purple. I will get some out to you either tomorrow or Thursday...
I have four trades left and I am heading to the PO tomorrow, if anyone else wants some!
I would like some asparagus also,, check my list

Sorry Karen, if I can't plant it in my garden, I'm just not really interested right now. If I end up with extras though I will send them to you for postage. I'll send you email if that's the case.
Thanks,
Amy
